Since taking over the property at the beginning of 2014 we have been involved in rennovations to enhance your experience at Villa Taman Damai. The changes we make generally occur when things aren't too busy and do not impact on your time within our property.

Villa Taman Damai, meaning peaceful garden villa, is situated in Bali's "cultural and spiritual heart", the beautiful Ubud.

We are located in Kutuh Kaja  opposite a peaceful rice field and just a 5 minute drive from central Ubud.

Ogoh-Ogoh  2021: the incredible statues made for the street parades on the eve of Nyepi are a must see. Ensure that you have plenty of memory cards and battery life for your digital camera and/or GoPro!

Hari Raya Nyepi (Balinese New Year) 2021: Also known as the day of silence where everyone is required to remain unseen and unheard on the streets of Bali. It is a day of meditation and contemplation. Shhhhh......
